Jinju City Holds Price Stabilization Measures Meeting Ahead of Chuseok Holiday

At the meeting, officials from price-related organizations such as the Jinju Office of Education, Jinju Tax Office, Agricultural Products Quality Management Service, distribution companies, and consumer-related organizations attended to discuss price stabilization measures for agricultural, livestock, and marine products, as well as personal service fees during the Chuseok holiday.
Each responsible department reported on price stabilization measures, and distribution companies and consumer-related organizations were urged to strive for sound commercial order and price stabilization management.
In this regard, the city will investigate the price trends and supply and demand status of 16 seasonal products for the holiday, including apples, pears, beef, pork, and croaker, through price monitoring personnel in preparation for the Chuseok holiday.
On September 2, a campaign for price stabilization will be conducted, and from September 5 for four days, an on-site inspection team will operate to guide and inspect price labeling systems, focusing on cracking down on unfair commercial practices.
Additionally, on the 30th, a promotional campaign on consumer damage prevention and relief methods will be held together with consumer-related organizations at Rodeo Street in Jungang Market to prevent consumer damage in preparation for the Chuseok holiday.
