LG Electronics Donates Home Appliances to Flood Victims Affected by Heavy Rainfall
Donation of a Total of 300 Refrigerators, Washing Machines, and Air Conditioners to the Korean Red Cross
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] LG Electronics announced on the 26th that it will donate 300 home appliances to disaster victims affected by the recent heavy rains.
LG Electronics recently donated a total of 300 home appliances, including 100 double-door refrigerators, 100 washing machines, and 100 portable air conditioners, to the Korean Red Cross. The Korean Red Cross will select recipients based on the victims' situations and the extent of damage, and LG Electronics will deliver and install the appliances for the recipients.
Immediately after the flood disaster, from the 11th to the 18th, LG Electronics set up a temporary service center at Seoul Nambu Elementary School in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, providing free services such as cleaning flooded appliances and replacing parts.
