Exploring Korean Culture by Team, Presentation on the 25th
On the 27th, sixty-six international students residing in Korea and Korean university students participating in the 'Youth Humanities Discussion Floor' contest will visit Buyeo to explore local culture. The 'Youth Humanities Discussion Floor' is a platform for understanding Korean culture, established by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Overseas Culture and Information Service since 2014. It has covered in-depth topics such as 'Korea's History of Overcoming National Crises,' 'Rediscovery of Korean Traditional Music,' and 'Rediscovery of Korean Intangible Heritage.' This year, participants are free to choose their own topics. The Buyeo exploration will be conducted as a humanities inquiry process to aid understanding. International students residing in Korea will visit various sites to study the culture and history embedded in the historic locations. After continuing their research in teams with their advising professors, they will present their findings on the 25th of next month at Nuri Dream Square in Sangam.
