Now in its third year, this festival is the largest domestic event promoting consumption of products from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners, involving domestic and international distributors, traditional markets, and shopping districts. First, as an incentive for companies participating in the Companion Festival, Kibo will exempt technology evaluation fees up to 200,000 KRW for SMEs and small business owners who purchase products from SMEs and small business owners. The exemption applies to companies that purchase more than 200,000 KRW during the festival period and newly apply for technology evaluation guarantees by the end of this year.
Additionally, Kibo plans to directly purchase products from SMEs and small business owners participating in the Companion Festival using funds raised through donations, and support vulnerable groups with these products. Furthermore, during the festival period, Kibo employees will actively participate in stimulating consumption by using Onnuri gift certificates to support traditional markets, and regional headquarters will jointly hold a 'Relay Challenge' campaign with sales offices nationwide to visit local traditional markets in succession.
