Gwangju Bank's 'Megabox Card Event' Until February 28 Next Year
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced that it will run the ‘Megabox Card Event’ until February 28 next year.
In March, Gwangju Bank signed a strategic business agreement with Megabox to connect online and offline sales networks and carry out joint marketing, aiming to strengthen partnership projects in line with the changing digital environment.
Accordingly, they launched a Megabox exclusive card (PLCC) targeting Megabox’s core customers.
To commemorate the launch of the Megabox exclusive card (PLCC), this event offers ▲free annual fees for customers who newly apply for the card through Gwangju Bank’s mobile web or smart banking by December 31 ▲a Megabox 2-person package (2 movie tickets, 1 Love Combo set) for spending over 34,000 KRW with the Megabox credit card ▲a single movie ticket for spending over 12,000 KRW with the Megabox check card.
Customers who have no Megabox card payment history in the two months prior to the event period will be automatically entered upon card use, and the Megabox 2-person package or single movie ticket will be provided within 20 business days of the following month after payment.
A Gwangju Bank Digital Business Department official said, “Through convergence between finance and the film industry, we signed a business agreement with Megabox to share capabilities and know-how in each field and create synergy, leading to the launch of the product and the event. Going forward, we will strive to provide unique digital financial services exclusive to Gwangju Bank by offering products and services reflecting customer needs through data convergence and long-term partnerships.”
The Megabox card provides a basic 3,000 KRW on-site discount once a month at Megabox theaters regardless of the previous month’s performance, offers up to 20% cashback on hot trends, internet shopping, convenience stores, fast food, public transportation, coffee shops, and includes various discount benefits across lifestyle categories.
