[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The 2022 Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) Job Fair will be held simultaneously online and offline from the 22nd to September 2nd.
Gyeongsangnam-do announced that this fair is co-hosted with Busan City, Ulsan City, Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, Bu-Ul-Gyeong Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, and BNK Busan Bank.
The Bu-Ul-Gyeong Job Fair was first held online in November last year to provide job opportunities to local residents and companies through cooperation between local governments and the central government.
A Gyeongnam official explained, "This event was promoted to revitalize the hiring market, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19, and to resolve the manpower shortage in the key industries of the Bu-Ul-Gyeong region. This year, it will be held both online and offline due to the easing of social distancing."
The fair will feature 288 local companies, including 80 from Gyeongnam, 148 from Busan, and 60 from Ulsan, with a large-scale recruitment of about 2,400 job seekers expected.
The online fair will run for two weeks from August 22 to September 2, where job seekers can apply for jobs and participate in video interviews based on customized recruitment information on the Bu-Ul-Gyeong Job Fair website.
Main events include ▲operation of corporate recruitment booths ▲pre-job seeker special lectures and employment strategy lectures ▲briefings by excellent local companies such as Lotte World, Hyundai Heavy Industries, and Arasoft ▲support for video employment consultations.
The offline fair will be held on August 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1, Hall 3B in Busan.
At the fair venue, there will be ▲briefings by public institutions such as Korea Southern Power, Ulsan Port Authority, and Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters ▲operation of corporate recruitment booths ▲special zones and general zones providing major policies and recruitment information from local governments and related organizations.
In the event zone, side events such as ▲career counseling using tarot cards ▲personal color one-on-one diagnosis and image counseling ▲ID photo retouching, as well as prize draws, will be held.
Job seekers wishing to participate can join online from the 22nd, and detailed information is available on the Bu-Ul-Gyeong Job Fair website.
