Firefighters' Union Demands Improved Working Conditions for Fire Officers in Gangwon Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] The National Fire Safety Officials Labor Union (Chairman Hong Suntak) announced on the 16th at 7 p.m. during a meeting held at the Secretary's Office of the Governor of Gangwon Province that they demanded improvements in the treatment of fire officials in the Gangwon region.
At the meeting, Hong Suntak, Chairman of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Firefighters' Union, said, "It is very meaningful to have a meeting again soon after the meeting with the Governor of Gangwon Province on June 28.
