Daejeon City Opens Application for Public Competitive Recruitment of Public Officials This Month
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City is launching an open competitive recruitment for public service positions.
The city announced on the 17th that it will accept applications for the "3rd Open Competitive Recruitment for Public Service Positions" from the 29th to the 31st of this month.
The total number of new hires planned is 5. By field, there is 1 cook (Health and Environment Research Institute), 1 landscaper (City Hall), 2 security guards (Agricultural Technology Center, Daejeon Arts Center), and 1 parking manager (City Hall).
Applicants must be citizens aged 18 to under 60 with a residence in Daejeon from the announcement date of the exam until the final exam date (interview date). However, for the senior-friendly positions in security and parking management, only those aged 50 to under 60 are eligible to apply.
Applications must be submitted in person at the Civil Service Reception Office (2nd floor) of Daejeon City Hall within the deadline, and registered mail must arrive by the 31st of this month.
