Pohang Daejam Library Announces Enrollment for 'Intellectual World Travel through Books and Movies' Course

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Pohang City Daecham Library in Gyeongbuk is recruiting students to participate in the 3rd lecture of the library's "Humanities on the Road," hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korean Library Association.
Daecham Library was selected for this year's "Humanities on the Road" contest project and successfully completed the 1st and 2nd lectures (a total of 5 sessions) in the first half of the year under the theme "A Humanities Journey into Classical Literature and Films," with the sub-theme "Communicating with the World through Classical Literature," including special lectures on classical literature and on-site experiential field trips.
The 3rd lecture in the second half of the year will be held under the sub-theme "An Intellectual World Tour through Books and Films," inviting Professor Ji-hyun Kim, a visiting professor in the Department of International Languages and Literature at Handong University. It will take place every Tuesday from September 6 to October 4, from 7 PM to 9 PM, at the Seo-nyeo Room of Daecham Library, spanning a total of 5 sessions.
The 3rd lecture will be operated as an evening course to encourage participation from a wide range of users, including office workers, and will recruit 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 16th through the cultural event application section on the library's website.
