A Man in His 20s Caught Trying to Touch the Face of a Woman Sleeping with the Window Screen Open
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] A man who broke into a woman’s house by opening the window screen while she was sleeping early in the morning was caught by the police.
On the 16th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that they had booked a man in his 20s, Mr. A, without detention on charges of trespassing and drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.
Mr. A opened the window screen of the victim’s house on the ground floor of a villa in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, early on the 12th, and tried to grab the victim’s face. When the victim caught him in the act, Mr. A immediately fled, but the police arrested him on the spot.
Mr. A is also suspected of riding a motorcycle while intoxicated, with a blood alcohol concentration more than three times the license cancellation level (0.08%). It is reported that during the investigation, Mr. A stated that he could not remember the criminal act due to intoxication.
