This on-site inspection focused on large-scale construction sites promoted by Geochang-gun, such as the Susungdae Trail Connection Project (suspension bridge) and the Geochang Public Sewage Treatment Facility Expansion Project, to check safety management status and emergency response plans.
Mayor Gu said, “Although the central region has been experiencing continuous heavy rain, our county has not seen heavy rain due to heatwaves, so there may be negligence in coping with highly variable weather conditions. Therefore, please do your best in safety management to prevent any damage in preparation for the southward movement of the stationary front.”
