Changwon Special City Holds 'Integrated Defense Council and Eulji Exercise Preparation Report Meeting'
Focusing All Efforts on Enhancing National Emergency Preparedness Capability
Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, held the '2022 3rd Quarter Integrated Defense Council and Eulji Exercise Preparation Report Meeting' on the 16th.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the ‘2022 3rd Quarter Integrated Defense Council and Eulji Exercise Preparation Report Meeting’ at 10:30 AM on the 16th in the Citizen Hall, with about 150 attendees including Integrated Defense Council members, department heads, and public officials of grade 6 or higher.
The meeting proceeded with watching a security video followed by the 2022 Eulji Exercise preparation report. The city conducted a preliminary inspection of the main preparation items and exercise plans by sector in preparation for the ‘2022 Eulji Exercise’ scheduled from the 22nd to the 25th.
A total of 764 participants from 19 organizations and companies will take part in this Eulji Exercise, which will be conducted realistically to ensure practical regional crisis management and all-out defense exercises aligned with the security environment. The main exercises will begin on the first day, the 22nd, with the emergency assembly of public officials, followed by ▲ wartime organization formation training ▲ wartime establishment organization training ▲ administrative agency dispersal training ▲ actual counter-terrorism training ▲ civil defense evacuation training.
