Jangseong-gun Conducts 'Community Health Survey' Targeting 885 People

[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do will conduct the 2022 Community Health Survey from the 16th to October 31st.

According to the county on the 12th, the Community Health Survey is a nationally approved statistical survey conducted simultaneously at 258 public health centers nationwide based on the Regional Health Act. It is conducted annually to understand the health status of local residents and utilize it for health policy implementation.

The survey targets 885 adults aged 19 or older among household members randomly selected as sample households. The survey is conducted through one-on-one interviews using tablet PCs by surveyors who visit the sample households directly.

The survey items cover a total of 19 areas and 138 questions, including health behaviors (such as drinking and smoking) and COVID-19 related topics. Physical measurements will not be conducted to comply with daily quarantine rules.

Personal information obtained through the survey will be used only for statistical purposes and strictly kept confidential in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. Participants will be provided with a small gift certificate.

A county official said, “Since the survey data serves as important basic data for establishing and evaluating health projects, we ask for active participation when surveyors visit.”
