Loan Maturity Extension and Installment Payment Deferral for SMEs and Individuals
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] BNK Financial Group's Busan Bank and Gyeongnam Bank launched 'emergency financial support' on the 11th for customers affected by the heavy rain concentrated in the metropolitan area.
Photos of the damage site can serve as application documents for financial support.
The two banks will allow loans maturing to be extended for up to one year at the previously applied interest rate level without principal repayment, and installment repayments can be deferred for up to six months.
The financial support targets customers who have suffered actual disaster damage due to the heavy rain. Customers can receive financial support by submitting damage-related materials such as 'photos of the damage site' to the bank.
Detailed information about this emergency financial support can be confirmed through all branches and customer centers of Busan Bank and Gyeongnam Bank.
A BNK Financial Group official said, "We extend our deepest condolences to those affected by the heavy rain," and added, "BNK Financial will do its utmost to provide practical assistance to them."
