Samsung Welfare Foundation Holds Special Lecture to Strengthen Leadership of Daycare Center Directors
For Directors of Nationwide Daycare Centers Facing Operational Challenges Due to Prolonged COVID-19 Spread
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] The Samsung Welfare Foundation announced on the 11th that it will hold a YouTube live lecture titled "Leadership Special Lecture for Daycare Center Directors" targeting daycare center directors nationwide. The special lecture will be held on the Samsung e-Continuing Education Campus YouTube channel from 2 PM to 4 PM on the 16th and 24th, respectively. Anyone can watch it.
The Samsung Welfare Foundation organized this special lecture under the theme of "Leadership." The purpose is to strengthen the capabilities of daycare center directors nationwide who are struggling to comply with quarantine guidelines due to the prolonged spread of COVID-19 and to help them reflect on their mental health.
The special lecture will be conducted through real-time lectures and Q&A sessions with the instructors. On the first day, the 16th, Professor Kim Kyung-il of Ajou University will give a cognitive psychology lecture on developing leadership based on communication and empathy. On the second day, the 24th, Professor Yoon Dae-hyun of Seoul National University Hospital will introduce ways for workplace managers to take care of their mental health based on the latest neuroscience and psychiatry.
