This is because a large letter ‘E’, the first letter of EXPO, is hidden on the sandy beach, which is expected to attract 10 million visitors by the end of this month.
Busan City has been conducting the ‘EXPO Treasure Hunt Challenge’ since the end of last month until the 31st of this month.
To spread the enthusiasm for hosting the 2030 Busan World EXPO, the city has hidden large and small typographic letters ‘E, X, P, O’ at major tourist spots and corporate stores in Busan, encouraging citizens to participate.
Daesun Joojo is also actively sponsoring this treasure hunt challenge.
Participants who find the hidden alphabets around the city, combine them, and upload them on their personal SNS will be entered into a draw where two first-place winners will receive LG laptops, two second-place winners will receive Sony headphones, and twenty third-place winners will receive Lotte packages as prizes.
Busan City has hidden large letters using Daesun Joojo parasols on the sandy beach of Haeundae Beach, where tourists gather.
The letters can be clearly photographed when viewed from nearby buildings or the Dongbaekseom walking trail.
Daesun Joojo, sponsoring the ‘EXPO Treasure Hunt Challenge’, also produced and provided 1,500 parasols and 2,000 tubes engraved with promotional phrases for the 2030 Busan World EXPO in time for the opening of Haeundae Beach.
Yongdusan Park in Jung-gu, Busan, is one of the 30 treasure hunt locations spread throughout the city with good accessibility, where all the hidden EXPO English alphabets can be found in one place.
Within a 50-meter radius of Daesun Joojo’s brand store ‘ㄷㅅ’ located in Yongdusan Park, you can find the X, P, and O banners.
The letter ‘E’ is displayed every night on the pillars of Diamond Tower in the form of a media facade, making it easy to spot. However, it is difficult to find on cloudy days.
