On online communities and other platforms, a photo of the so-called 'waterproof building,' Cheongnam Building, was released on the 8th. The roads in front of Cheongnam Building were submerged to the extent that car wheels were not visible due to the heavy rain flooding the Gangnam area. Cheongnam Building, equipped with a 2-meter-high waterproof door, did not experience any flood damage.

In 2013, repair work was carried out, and now the height of the wall has been reinforced to be taller than an adult male. It is known that a company owning Cheongnam Building installed the waterproof door due to frequent flooding in the Gangnam area.
