On the 9th, the Lotte Cultural Foundation announced that the 'Dreamer, 3:45am' exhibition, which closed on January 9th, won the grand prize in the Brand & Communication category at this year's Red Dot Design Award.
The Red Dot Award is a ceremony held by the Design Center of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, since 1955, evaluating designs in three categories: design concept, product, and brand & communication. Along with the American IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards) and the German iF (International Forum) Design Award, it is considered one of the world's top three industrial design awards.
The ‘Dreamer, 3:45am’ exhibition featured 10 teams of leading domestic musicians and contemporary artists presenting five synesthetic art spaces centered on the theme of ‘dreams.’
The exhibition was praised for breaking the boundaries of contemporary art and offering new artistic experiences and inspiration. Participating domestic artists included Fabriker, Silo Lab, Studio Atek, and musicians Code Kunst, Peggy Gou, Yoon Seokcheol, Frankincense, Lim Yongju, and the contemporary dance group Ambiguous Dance Company.
