38 Schools Selected for the 2023 Green Smart School Awards
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education selected 38 schools as the 2023 Green Smart School awardees at the selection review committee.

The Green Smart School project is an initiative to cultivate future talents responding to the post-COVID-19 era and the 4th Industrial Revolution, and to create future-oriented eco-friendly smart educational environments. The first phase of the project is being carried out over five years from 2021 to 2025.
The Selection Review Committee consists of a total of 22 members, including external members such as provincial assembly members, chief architects, architects, structural engineers, and internal members from the Gyeongbuk Office of Education.
Based on the quantitative evaluation results of the applicant schools submitted by the Education Support Offices and the qualitative evaluation results through in-depth discussions grounded in the specialized knowledge of the committee members in each field, 38 schools (15 elementary, 11 middle, and 12 high schools) were selected according to the determined priority.
The 38 schools selected this time will be finalized as target schools after appropriateness review by the Ministry of Education's review committee, and then preliminary planning services and design will proceed based on user participation.
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education is currently promoting 103 schools pre-selected for the 2021-2022 target projects.
