Hantoo Securities 'System Failure', Trading System Continues to Halt
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Korea Investment & Securities' trading system has experienced a computer malfunction since after the market closed on the 8th, and it has not been restored until the early morning of the 9th. If the system is not restored before the domestic stock market opens that day, significant damage is expected not only to overseas stock investors but also domestically.
According to Korea Investment & Securities, access to the Home Trading System (HTS), Mobile Trading System (MTS), and the official website has been interrupted since around 4 p.m. the previous day. Although the access disruption occurred after the regular market closed, overseas stock trading was suspended overnight.

The company stated that the trading system was suspended due to an emergency system inspection caused by unstable power supply in the main office's computer room. While they initially indicated that normal use would resume once power supply was restored, the system has not been recovered for over 15 hours.
