Gwangju Gyeongchong Conducts Dream Youth Common Education
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Employers Federation recently announced on the 5th that it conducted common training for 95 Dream Youth participants who took part in the '2022 12th Gwangju Youth Work Experience Dream+ (Plus) - Corporate Type'.
This project is a youth job stepping stone program supported by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Gwangju Metropolitan City to prevent long-term unemployment among unemployed youth residing in Gwangju and to promote their settlement in the local community.
Youth work flexibly for 25 hours per week over 5 months at companies, receiving wage support based on the Gwangju Metropolitan City living wage standard, along with various activities such as job competency enhancement training, career counseling, and networking group activities to discover their interests and aptitudes and to design career paths suited to their job aptitudes.
