Gwangju Bukbu Fire Department Awards Appointment Certificates to University Student Volunteer Fire Brigade Members

The "Volunteer Fire Brigade" is a volunteer organization that assists fire services by guarding and extinguishing fires, conducting rescue and first aid, evacuating and providing relief during disasters such as fires, ensuring safety at various event venues, and providing fire safety education to protect the lives and property of the public.
In particular, university student volunteer firefighters contribute to the local community by balancing their studies with activities such as collecting data on the volunteer fire brigade’s performance, promotional activities, and social service activities.
The Seoyoung University Student Specialized Volunteer Fire Brigade consists of 13 students majoring in Emergency Medical Services. They receive appointment certificates and preliminary education on fire prevention and first aid, and perform roles and duties as volunteer firefighters.
