Kospo, Recruiting Companies for 'Startup Customized Training Support Project' Participation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Min-jae] The Korea Startup Forum is recruiting startups to participate in the ‘Startup Customized Training Support Project’ until the 31st of this month.
The Startup Customized Training Support Project is a program operated by Kospo, tailored to the characteristics of startups, based on the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea’s ‘Field Customized Systematic Training Support Project.’ It provides company-specific education programs and solutions for startups that face limitations in internal workforce development. The focus is on enhancing the capabilities of current employees and improving on-site issues. The training courses are developed jointly by internal and external experts, and all costs associated with conducting the training are fully supported.
Having been selected as the project operating institution for the second consecutive year, including last year, Kospo plans to offer advanced consulting and education programs. In particular, for the software (SW) sector, the program will be subdivided into areas with high demand in the startup community, such as ▲frontend ▲backend ▲app development ▲big data ▲cloud ▲information security. The scope will also be expanded to management support fields such as ▲branding ▲marketing ▲HR, which were not implemented last year.
Participating startups will receive on-site consulting for job analysis and identification of necessary training, followed by the development of training courses and on-site education accordingly. Startups wishing to participate can find detailed information and apply on the official Kospo website.

Choi Sung-jin, CEO of Kospo, said, “Since startups generally suffer from chronic manpower shortages, nurturing talent that fits the company’s status and characteristics can be a more practical solution. In addition to the Startup Customized Training Support Project, we will continue to explore various opportunities for outstanding talents to frequently engage with and thrive in startups.”
