Coupang intends to steadily expand the recruitment of discharged soldiers to further strengthen civil-military cooperation. This is because military personnel such as officers with experience leading platoons and companies, and non-commissioned officers with abundant practical knowledge, adapt quickly to job roles and have high job satisfaction. Many former Army personnel at Coupang have leveraged their military experience to excel in roles such as FC operations management and recruitment managers. Last year, Coupang also signed a business agreement with the Army for recruitment and talent development of military veterans.
