[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] On the 3rd (local time), the Korea Customs Service announced that Commissioner Yoon Tae-sik held a meeting with representatives of domestic companies operating locally at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Los Angeles (LA), USA. The meeting was organized to listen to difficulties and suggestions related to customs clearance and logistics faced by companies and to seek solutions. Subsequently, Commissioner Yoon will attend the '17th Korea-US Customs Commissioners Meeting' to be held in Washington D.C. on the 5th (local time). At the meeting, Commissioner Yoon plans to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of customs clearance and logistics.
