MarkVision Secures 26 Billion KRW Series A Funding
Participation of DST Global and Atinum Investment, among others
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] AI startup MarkVision (CEO Inseop Lee) announced on the 3rd that it has secured 26 billion KRW in Series A funding from global venture capital (VC) DST Global, known as an early investor in Facebook and Twitter, and domestic VC Atinum Investment.
The investors highly evaluated MarkVision's differentiated business model addressing the global counterfeit goods market problem, its team with high expertise, and its remarkably rapid growth rate.
Based on the newly secured funds, MarkVision plans to strengthen its global market influence through talent acquisition, organizational restructuring for operational advancement, and expansion of new regional offices. MarkVision aims to become a comprehensive IP platform company that supports the entire process of intellectual property (IP) management in a one-stop manner.
