Hwasun-gun Extends 'Career Connection Voucher Application Period' Until the 31st

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Bok-gyu) announced on the 2nd that the application period for the Career Continuation Voucher has been extended until the 31st.

The Career Continuation Voucher is a project that supports the social reintegration of women with career interruptions who face difficulties returning to work due to childbirth and childcare.

The eligible applicants are women aged 35 to 54 who have had an address in Jeollanam-do for more than one year and have registered as job seekers at employment support institutions (such as the Women's New Employment Center, Employment Welfare Plus Center, etc.).

Applicants whose health insurance premium for the previous month is below 150% of the median income (based on a 4-person household, the workplace health insurance premium standard is 272,000 KRW) as of the application date are eligible to apply.

However, those who received the Career Continuation Voucher support last year, beneficiaries of similar welfare services under other laws such as the Women Farmers Happiness Voucher, recipients of unemployment benefits, National Tomorrow Learning Card, National Employment Support System, participants in financially supported job projects, etc., are excluded.

Applications can be submitted at the administrative welfare centers of the applicant's resident town or township. The voucher can be applied for only once in a lifetime, and 200,000 KRW is provided via a voucher card.

The support fund can be used until the end of this year for purchasing books for job preparation, paying course fees for employment lectures, interview preparation costs, and so on.
