Cube Entertainment's Metaverse 'K Village' Launches Hana Bank Virtual Branch
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Hana Bank has partnered with Cube Entertainment to advance its metaverse (expanded virtual world) business. They plan to launch various digital-based projects, including opening a virtual branch within Cube Entertainment's metaverse space.
On the 2nd, Hana Bank announced that it signed a "business agreement for collaboration on metaverse-based digital business" with Cube Entertainment. Through this partnership, Hana Bank will conduct various projects within 'K Village,' created by Cube Entertainment, inside the global metaverse platform 'The Sandbox.'
First, a virtual branch of Hana Bank will be established in K Village. This location will offer specialized financial services such as currency exchange and preferential interest rate coupons, along with sports content like soccer and golf, which Hana Bank sponsors.
Additionally, Hana Bank and Cube Entertainment plan to jointly plan and host various digital-based events. This aims to provide overseas users with opportunities to experience diverse aspects of Korean culture, serving as a platform for business expansion.
