A World Where Robots Solve Social Issues... Busan Education Office Hosts Future Talent Imagination Realization Camp for Middle School Students
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will hold the "Middle School Gifted Education Students Imagination Realization (I&D, Imagination Design) Camp" for 100 second-year middle school students selected for gifted education over three days starting from the 3rd.
The camp aims to enhance students' creative problem-solving skills and convergent thinking through project activities, under the theme "Social Problem Solving Project Using Robots (Subtitle: Micro:bit Ultimate Development Competition)".
To prevent COVID-19, the camp will be operated with 5 teams in 5 separate classes and will be conducted using an online platform to facilitate communication among students.
Participating students will carry out project-based learning activities on local community issues to create a better society using robots, and will produce and present solutions in the form of robots.
Based on the presentation results, 1 team will be selected as the best, 4 teams as excellent, and 10 teams as encouraging, with prizes awarded.
