Director Lee Jung-jae's 'Hunt' Sets the Stage for Screening in 144 Countries
Invited to the Toronto International Film Festival Next Month
Actor Lee Jung-jae's directorial debut film, "Hunt," has laid the groundwork to be screened in 114 countries. Distributor Megabox JoongAng Plus M announced on the 1st that they have signed distribution rights contracts with companies in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, India, Hong Kong, Australia, Vietnam, Russia, Brazil, Taiwan, and more. "Hunt," which will be released domestically on the 10th, is a spy action film depicting events that unfold as 1980s National Intelligence Service agents Park Pyung-ho and Kim Jung-do suspect each other of being spies. It was first unveiled in the Midnight Screening section at the Cannes Film Festival last May. Next month, it has also been invited to the Gala Presentation section of the Toronto International Film Festival, aiming for global success.
