[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Science Museum announced on the 1st that it will hold a special exhibition titled 'Climate Emergency,' which allows visitors to reflect on the climate crisis, until October 30.
'Climate Emergency' is an exhibition where visitors can experience various evidence of the climate crisis and human efforts to delay this crisis even slightly. It is held at the Makers Studio of the Seoul Science Museum, and admission is free. The exhibition was previewed on July 26, during which time feedback from citizens and youth was collected and improvements were made.
The exhibition is composed of six sub-themes: ▲The Time Left Is Short ▲What Is the Climate Crisis? ▲Signals from the Earth ▲What Will Happen to Us? ▲For a Changed Daily Life ▲Message Tunnel. Each theme is presented as an interactive exhibition that enables visitors to actively understand the climate crisis.
The exhibition hall is designed to resemble a construction site. It conveys the feeling of rebuilding human daily life, which is deteriorating due to the climate crisis caused by humans. The exhibition facilities were produced and installed using recycled paper, eco-friendly materials, and recyclable resources. This exhibition carries a message to reconsider the close relationship between 'climate' and 'me' through everyday stories and to start small changes in daily life to create a sustainable future together.
