[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Kim Jo-il, head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, had a communication session with prospective firefighters.
According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 29th, Kim gave a special lecture to 119 prospective firefighters undergoing training at the Jeonnam Fire School the previous day and communicated through an informal Q&A session.
The special lecture was conducted under the theme of "Sharing the Value of Firefighting and the Path to Becoming a Firefighter," focusing on the mindset of firefighters, firefighting spirit and mission, and the role as fire service personnel.
Kim emphasized, "Every drop of sweat shed during the tough training becomes the cornerstone of protecting the lives and property of the people and building a strong firefighting organization on the scene," and urged, "Please devote yourselves even more to training for the safety of the residents."
He also said, "Let us communicate with each other and do our best in our respective positions to become an honorable Jeonnam Fire Department, valuing the safety of the residents as the highest priority."

Meanwhile, the trainees' education period is a total of 19 weeks, consisting of 15 weeks of group training at the Fire School and a 4-week practical training course at frontline fire stations, after which they will perform duties to protect the safety of the people from various disasters.
