According to the Mokpo Coast Guard Station on the 29th, at around 6:44 PM the previous day, a report was received that resident A (female, in her 60s) in Jodo, Jindo-gun, was experiencing difficulty breathing and needed hospital transfer. A coastal patrol boat from the local police substation was dispatched immediately.
Upon quickly arriving at the scene, the Coast Guard boarded resident A and her guardian onto the coastal patrol boat, continuously monitoring the patient's breathing, pulse, and oxygen saturation. They arrived at Seomang Port in Jindo and handed over the patient to the waiting 119 emergency medical team.
Thanks to the Coast Guard's assistance, the emergency patient was transferred to a nearby hospital for detailed examination and is currently receiving treatment.
