Working in the Land of Adventure and Mystery! ... Busan City and Lotte World Busan Sign 'Customized Job Creation Agreement for People with Disabilities'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan City will sign a "Business Agreement for Creating Customized Jobs for People with Disabilities at Lotte World" with Hotel Lotte Lotte World Adventure Busan and the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled Busan Vocational Competency Development Institute at 11 a.m. on the 29th.
The signing ceremony is expected to be attended by Lee Byung-jin, Deputy Mayor of Busan City, Kim Gwan-sik, Head of Lotte World Yeongnam Sales Division, and Park Jae-sul, Director of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled Busan Vocational Competency Development Institute.
The organizations will discover customized jobs for people with disabilities at Lotte World Busan and provide quality jobs to local people with disabilities.
To create good jobs where local people with disabilities can actively participate and work happily, the city proposed the employment of people with disabilities in on-site duties (cast) to Lotte World in March.
The "cast" duties involve assisting with amusement ride operations, guiding customer entry and exit, and managing customer flow and cleanliness.
The city judged that these duties are suitable for jobs for people with disabilities and proposed this to Lotte.
Lotte accepted the proposal, considering that as a theme park where anyone can work happily, it would be a good job opportunity for local people with disabilities and a chance to fulfill its social responsibility as a large corporation.
Based on the agreement, the Integrated Support Center for Jobs for People with Disabilities will stably promote the project, and Lotte World will provide jobs for people with disabilities.
The Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled Busan Vocational Competency Development Institute will support pre-customized training courses.
The recruitment target is registered people with disabilities residing in Busan who are interested in Lotte World cast positions. The number of recruits and job positions can be confirmed in the announcement, and from August, the Busan City Integrated Support Center for Jobs for People with Disabilities will recruit participants.
Busan City and Lotte World plan to strive for stable job creation for people with disabilities through continuous cooperation.
Participants in the project will receive support for all procedures in the employment process, from document application to customized pre-education, interview support, on-site training, and post-employment adaptation monitoring.
After receiving four weeks of pre-customized education and on-site training, they are scheduled to be deployed directly to the site and begin performing cast duties in earnest from the end of September.
