On the 28th, Governor Kim met with representatives of four small and medium-sized enterprises in the Siwha and Ansan areas, including Yulchon Co., Ltd., which is experiencing management difficulties due to the sharp rise in raw material prices, at the Ansan Siwha Industrial Complex. He said, "There are many difficulties as several challenging conditions overlap, such as recent delivery price issues, soaring raw material prices, the Russia-Ukraine war, and interest rate hikes," adding, "We will look into what systems or policies Gyeonggi Province can implement regarding the realization of delivery prices, and also examine issues that can be resolved autonomously with large corporations. For legislative matters, we will seek cooperation through the National Assembly."
Earlier, on the 1st, as his first approval after taking office as governor, Kim signed the 'Emergency Economic Response and Livelihood Stabilization Comprehensive Plan,' which included ▲export insurance support ▲logistics cost support for export companies ▲tax-free fuel and logistics cost support for farmers and fishermen ▲fertilizer price stabilization support ▲and urging the introduction of a delivery price linkage system.
Subsequently, on the 11th, the province held a 'Delivery Price Realization Meeting' attended by chairpersons of printing, casting, and furniture cooperatives in the province, and also released the results of a survey reflecting the opinions of 233 small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in the province regarding delivery prices.
Based on these field opinions, the province plans to propose to the National Assembly and government the prompt introduction of the delivery price linkage system and effective operational plans for the system.

On this day, Lee Heung-hae, CEO of Yulchon Co., Ltd., and other small and medium-sized enterprise representatives appealed that instability in raw material supply and prices in the global economy is expected to increase, and that small and medium-sized enterprises caught between large corporate suppliers and large corporate customers find it difficult to request price adjustments due to fears of transaction termination and volume reduction. From this perspective, they emphasized the necessity of the delivery price linkage system and the need to introduce the system.
