Since 2006, the Office of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Guatemalan Ministry of Education and has trained 321 teachers as e-learning leading teachers. Along with remote training, it has supported a total of 2,320 informatization equipment units.

The on-site schedule includes checking the status of informatization equipment utilization, conducting class consulting and local training, and attending a class performance presentation held by leading teachers who have visited the Gyeongbuk Office of Education so far.
Going forward, the plan is to further activate school-level class content production and sharing, online training, and expand cultural exchange and educational promotion exchanges such as operating mutual promotion weeks for each other's countries.
