Mesh Korea Takes Charge of Real-Time Delivery for Nighttime Medical Prescription Drugs
Ondoktor Partners with Mesh Korea to Launch Nighttime Non-Face-to-Face Specialized Medical Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Mesh Korea, operator of 'Boorung,' announced on the 28th that it has started real-time delivery of pharmaceuticals prescribed through Ondoctor's (CEO Son Mi-young) nighttime non-face-to-face medical consultations.
Mesh Korea delivers pharmaceuticals prescribed by Ondoctor through nighttime non-face-to-face consultations directly to patients via Boorung's logistics network, which includes more than 520 company-operated last-mile logistics hubs nationwide and over 110,000 delivery drivers.
Ondoctor not only provides temporarily permitted non-face-to-face general consultations due to COVID-19 but also offers specialized nighttime non-face-to-face consultations in pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology through an exclusive hospital network in the metropolitan area. It also conducts day and night consultations for patients suffering from post-COVID symptoms and provides prescribed medicines through partnered nighttime pharmacies. Currently, it operates with over 70 partnered daytime hospitals, 9 partnered nighttime hospitals, and 5 partnered nighttime pharmacies capable of dispensing prescriptions, responding to non-face-to-face medical consultations.
Mesh Korea is working on integration so that when Ondoctor connects doctors and patients through its own platform and sends prescriptions to pharmacies after non-face-to-face consultations, the pharmacies can dispense the prescribed medicines and deliver them to patients.
