View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea Financial Investment Association's Financial Investment Education Institute is recruiting students for the "Understanding Capital Markets and Financial Investment (Daytime)" course and the "Private Fund Manager Back Office Practice" course.
First, applicants for the "Understanding Capital Markets and Financial Investment (Daytime)" in-person course are being accepted until August 16. The course begins on September 14. This course is an introductory program designed to develop the job competencies required for new employees at financial investment companies.
It covers financial investment-related laws and ethics, as well as a broad range of financial investment products including stocks, bonds, and derivatives. Based on understanding fundamental concepts, students will establish investment strategies for various assets through macroeconomic and corporate analysis.
Students will have the opportunity to explore the roles they will be responsible for at financial investment companies in advance. The course runs from September 14 to September 29, totaling 12 days and 71 hours, and is held at the Yeouido Financial Investment Education Institute during daytime hours (09:30?16:30). Additionally, for back office personnel at asset management firms, applications are open until August 16 for the "Private Fund Manager Back Office Practice" in-person course. The course starts on September 13.
This practical course supports learning through hands-on training with essential work programs such as e-Safe, FINES, and DART, which private fund manager support staff must know.
The course covers overall back office tasks related to private fund manager support, including work procedures and precautions. In particular, instructors composed of industry experts provide foundational knowledge and related know-how necessary for job performance.
