The "Green Smart School Project" is a project aimed at nurturing future talents in response to the post-COVID-19 era and the 4th Industrial Revolution, and creating future-oriented eco-friendly smart educational environments. The first phase of the project is being carried out over five years from 2021 to 2025.
The provincial Office of Education has already pre-selected 103 schools for the 2021-2022 target project and is currently implementing it. This time, to select the Green Smart School target schools for next year, on-site inspections are being conducted on 26 schools in 14 regions, where reconstruction projects are planned, based on the quantitative evaluation results of applicant schools submitted by the education support offices.
The on-site inspection is conducted by the "Green Smart School Selection Deliberation Committee," composed of external members such as provincial assembly members, chief architects, architects, structural engineers, and internal members of the Gyeongbuk Office of Education. They visit the schools to directly check ▲ the status and condition of facilities ▲ whether student capacity measures have been reviewed ▲ and the reasons for applying for reconstruction projects.
