Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters and the Seosaeng-myeon Farmers' Countermeasure Committee held a "Seosaeng-myeon Farmers' Agricultural Materials Support Project Agreement Ceremony" on the 26th at the meeting room of the Seosaeng-myeon Farmers' Countermeasure Committee in Ulju-gun, providing 600 million KRW for the purchase of agricultural materials.
The agricultural materials purchase cost will be supported for about 690 farmers in Seosaeng-myeon. This support project is expected to reduce the burden of purchasing agricultural materials for farmers in the Seosaeng area near the nuclear power plant, helping to improve farm income and alleviate economic difficulties.
Lee Yong-jin, chairman of the Seosaeng-myeon Farmers' Countermeasure Committee, expressed gratitude, saying, "The agricultural materials support project provides practical benefits to local farmers every year."
Lee Sang-min, head of Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "Since there are many difficulties due to COVID-19, we will make multifaceted efforts to coexist with the region through active support and to provide practical help in income generation."
