Woo Sang-ho "Yoon, Is He So Idle as to Remove Ruling Party Leader and Send Text Messages?"
"The removal of Representative Lee Jun-seok has been confirmed as a work of President Yoon Seok-yeol and Yoon's core supporters"
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] Woo Sang-ho, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, on the 27th, criticized the controversy over the text messages exchanged between President Yoon Seok-yeol and Kwon Seong-dong, Acting Leader of the People Power Party, saying, "Is South Korea so idle that the President of the Republic of Korea removes the leader of his ruling party and then feels good enough to send such a text to the Acting Leader?"

He criticized, "Because the President is interested in such matters, isn't the livelihood and economy becoming even more difficult?" and added, "At one time, he begged for young people's votes relying on Representative Lee, but now, seeing the hypocrisy of this President and Yoon's core associates who immediately cut down the young leader accusing him of internal betrayal, I felt that politics is cruel."
Chairman Woo expressed skepticism about the President's prospects, saying, "I am doubtful whether there is any hope for such a President," and criticized, "He should focus on livelihood and the economy, and it is not desirable for the President to be deeply involved in the power struggle within the People Power Party."
The previous afternoon, Floor Leader Kwon attended the National Assembly plenary session and exchanged messages with President Yoon via Telegram. However, controversy arose when the media exposed President Yoon referring to Representative Lee, who was suspended from party membership for six months, as "a party leader who only did internal betrayal."
