[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Oasis Market announced on the 26th that it has established a smart fulfillment center in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, and will begin full-scale operations.
Oasis Market plans to expand its dawn delivery service and online food market through the Uiwang center, which is 7 to 8 times larger than the existing Seongnam logistics center.
Currently, the dawn delivery service is provided to some areas in the Chungcheong region, but it plans to expand the service to the entire Chungcheong Province within the year. The Uiwang center mainly handles deliveries in the western region and will serve as a dawn delivery hub for areas south of Chungcheong in the future.
Using the Uiwang center, Oasis Market is also preparing logistics outsourcing for other companies, such as dawn delivery logistics outsourcing for Oasis Alpha, a joint venture with its business partners E-Land Retail and KT Alpha.
