Samsung Launches 'Galaxy Book Art Project' with AI Artist
AI Artist 'Kallo' Creates
'My Own AI Art Piece'
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Samsung Electronics announced on the 24th that starting from the 25th, it will hold the 'Galaxy Book Art Project,' where users can decorate their Galaxy Book with 'my own AI art works' reflecting their unique personality and taste.
The Galaxy Book Art Project collaborates with the Galaxy Book2 series and the AI artist 'Karlo,' created based on the AI model of 'Kakao Brain.' Karlo is an AI artist that implements various painting styles based on big data.
The project can be accessed on Samsung.com. Participants can freely enter keywords in order such as 'place,' 'action,' and 'object,' and specify the desired painting style like pop art or illustration, and the AI artist will instantly create 'my own AI art work.'
The personalized AI art work can also be downloaded for personal collection. Through the custom studio on Samsung.com, it can be made into a skin to be applied on the top cover or case of the Galaxy Book2 series products.
Samsung Electronics also prepared an event to commemorate this. By uploading your own AI art work or the skin made from it on your social network service (SNS) by August 31, you can enter a draw to win a Galaxy Book2 series, custom skins, and more. Customers who have already purchased the Galaxy Book2 or new customers will have the opportunity to purchase the Book2 series custom skin made by the AI artist for 4,900 KRW, limited to the first 10,000 people on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participation in the project is possible not only online but also offline. At the Samsung Digital Plaza Hongdae Main Store Custom Studio, you can directly create your own Book product using AI art works.
