On the 21st, Gyeongsan City announced that it conducted training to strengthen the capacity to discover national and public project opportunities for new strategic projects for its employees at the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Training Institute of the Small and Medium Business Corporation located in Baekcheon-dong.
The training provided an opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of policy environment changes following the new government and the launch of the 8th local government administration, and to explore analysis of planned national and public projects and response strategies for central government department reviews to establish a sustainable growth foundation.
A national funding expert instructor was invited to conduct training divided into three areas: ▲ directions of national funding support and response strategies for each stage of government budget formulation ▲ cultivation of national and public project analysis capabilities ▲ research on early implementation plans for the 8th local government administration’s campaign promises.
Cho Hyun-il, Mayor of Gyeongsan City, said, “Through this training, I hope our employees will learn methods of analyzing national support projects and strategic approaches to minimize our city’s financial burden while maximizing investment effects, becoming capable staff.”
Gyeongsan City applied for a total of 290.5 billion KRW in national funding for 81 projects, including the ‘Gyeongbuk Electric Vehicle Next-Generation Wireless Charging Regulatory Free Zone,’ to secure the 2023 national investment budget.
