This activity was organized to provide an opportunity for youth, exhausted from COVID-19, to relieve everyday stress while experiencing the beauty of Jeju and to recognize the importance of peer relationships and grow together.
In particular, it was more meaningful as the participating youth themselves planned the exploration area and itinerary.
An official from Andong City After-School Academy for Youth said, "We hope the Jeju cultural exploration camp will heal the body and mind of youth tired from studies, improve friendships, and strengthen bonds, serving as a foundation for healthier youth growth," adding, "We will strive even more for the beautiful journey of future talents who will play a role in society."
Andong City After-School Academy for Youth, which provides education, welfare, and protection activities for youth needing after-school care, was selected as an 'Excellent' institution in last year's comprehensive evaluation of after-school academies conducted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
