At the 'Ambassador's Cup Taekwondo Competition hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cambodia,' held from the 15th to the 16th at the Booyoung Khmer Taekwondo Training Center in Phnom Penh, Samsung Electronics installed advertisements promoting the '2030 Busan World Expo' at the venue and provided brochures so that participants could naturally encounter information related to the Busan Expo.
As a member of the public-private joint '2030 Busan World Expo Bid Committee,' Samsung Electronics operated experience zones featuring Samsung smartphones and TVs at the competition site, while also screening promotional videos for the Busan Expo.
A Samsung Electronics Southeast Asia division official conveyed messages to Taekwondo athletes, local fans attending the competition, and officials from Cambodia's Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, emphasizing the necessity of hosting the '2030 Busan World Expo' and asking for their support.
