Gwangju Gyeongjinwon Promotes Living Safety Support for Goryeoin Village
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Metropolitan City Economic Employment Promotion Agency held a business agreement ceremony on the 19th to explore support measures for the livelihood stability of the descendants of Koreans in the region.
Through this agreement, the Gwangju Economic Promotion Agency will support a systematic system such as community contribution and the selection of outstanding talents and linkage of employment support projects for the stable settlement of the descendants of Koreans.
The two organizations agreed to cooperate with each other in joint cooperation through idea discovery and commercialization, mutual cooperation to enhance workers' employment capabilities, and other projects necessary for mutual development and friendship promotion.
Park Sung-soo, director of the Economic Promotion Agency, said, “We will be able to contribute to community service through close cooperation and exchange with the Koreanin Village,” and added, “We will strive to improve the employment of the descendants of Koreans by making the best use of capabilities and resources.”
