Volvo Construction Equipment Supports Recovery in Uljin Wildfire-Affected Areas
A Total of 11 Equipment Including Medium and Large Volvo Excavators and Volvo Trucks Deployed
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Volvo Construction Equipment and Volvo Trucks Korea announced on the 19th that they have engaged in recovery efforts and additional damage prevention activities due to the monsoon rains, focusing on the large wildfire damage area in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, over the past eight days.
A total of 11 heavy equipment units, including 7 medium-to-large excavators and 4 dump trucks, were deployed for the wildfire damage recovery and prevention work. The recovery work, centered around three locations at Bugucheon in Bugu-ri, Buk-myeon, Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, was swiftly initiated in cooperation with on-site volunteers to prevent additional damage such as landslides caused by heavy rain and strong winds before the start of the monsoon season's heavy rainfall.
