On the 18th, E1 held an opening ceremony for the hydrogen charging station at the Gwacheon station and announced that hydrogen charging stations have been installed at stations in Gwacheon, Goyang, and Seoul's Gangseo area. Last year, E1 signed a business agreement with the Ministry of Environment to expand hydrogen charging infrastructure and has been promoting the construction of LPG-hybrid hydrogen charging stations.
The stations can continuously charge more than six hydrogen vehicles per hour and operate year-round without holidays. They also have automatic indoor car wash facilities, which are expected to greatly enhance customer satisfaction for hydrogen vehicle users at the stations.
In particular, the Gwacheon station also has electric vehicle charging facilities, enabling charging for LPG, hydrogen, and electric vehicles, which is expected to significantly improve convenience for drivers.
Additionally, hydrogen vehicle customers can enjoy the same benefits of the E1 membership Orange Card service as existing LPG vehicle customers. Hydrogen vehicle customers earn 44 points per kg when charging, and a differentiated service is provided, including a jackpot event where customers can enter to win 1 million points via the Orange Card App with every charge.
E1 plans to continue expanding the construction of hybrid and commercial vehicle hydrogen charging stations mainly in the metropolitan area and major cities nationwide.
