Sunchon National University Signs Business Agreement with Hanwha Compound Co., Ltd. to Promote Industry-Academia Cooperation and Foster Talented Professionals
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon National University (President Ko Young-jin) announced on the 18th that it signed an agreement with Hanwha Compound Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Sang-il) in the university headquarters' main conference room to promote ‘industry-academia cooperation activation and excellent talent cultivation.’
Through this agreement, both organizations promised to strengthen cooperation in various areas for regional industrial development, including ▲ promoting the development/utilization of compound industry recycled resin plastic products and activating business cooperation systems through the exchange of human and material resources ▲ personnel exchange of Suncheon National University students or graduates ▲ continuous industry-academia cooperation.
Lim Sang-il, CEO of Hanwha Compound Co., Ltd., said, “We are pleased to jointly respond with Suncheon National University to the development of compounds used in automobiles, electrical/electronic, construction/living goods, and the development of eco-friendly materials,” adding, “Through this agreement, Hanwha Compound Co., Ltd. will take the lead in driving regional industrial development and establishing an ecosystem of co-growth with the university.”
Ko Young-jin, President of Suncheon National University, stated, “Based on this agreement, both organizations will actively utilize the human and material infrastructure they possess to jointly respond to future industrial technologies and strive to cultivate excellent talent that leads the growth of local companies by establishing a company-customized education system.”
